Tahiti Va'a Incorporated is a Limited Liability Company based in Tahiti - French Polynesia. It was founded in 2018 just a few months after the IVF Va'a World Sprints Championships in Tahiti.
The sport of Outrigger Canoe Paddling has grown so much all around the world in the past few years that paddling communities are even emerging from unexpected places such as Dubai, Portugal or Morocco.
Our ancestors must be proud to know that a part of our culture has spread over the islands to reach hundreds of thousands of people around the planet who have now dedicated their lives to it.
The mission of Tahiti Va'a Inc. is to help paddlers learn about the science behind contemporary Tahitian paddling techniques.
